Maplegrove Property Management, founded in 2001, is a Michigan licensed real estate broker and builder, and is established to provide outstanding property management services for apartments, condominium associations, and commercial offices. We seek to enhance the quality of life for those who live and work in properties we manage.
Apartment Management
Maplegrove Property Management, LLC provides the following services to apartment properties:
- Apartment types managed include: multi-family, senior & tax credit
- Obtain rental applications, credit reports, renters’ histories, criminal records
- Assure compliance with Section 8 and other governmental requirements
- Execute leases prior to occupancy
- Collect security deposits, monthly lease payments, and late fees
- Contract with vendors to provide lawn care, snow removal, HVAC, etc. services
- Handle maintenance service requests of renters
- Assure necessary insurance coverages for the property
- Process and pay accounts payable
- Provide monthly financial statements
- Provide appropriate administrative and maintenance staffing
- Prepare advertising copy and contract for appropriate, cost-effective advertisements
- Provide market analysis (comparisons) for similar properties
Condominium Management
Maplegrove Property Management, LLC maintains the files and records of the Condominium Associations; manages subcontractors; oversees non-routine contracts, e.g., shingle replacement; helps assure appropriate Association property and casualty insurance coverages; responds to Co-Owner’s requests for work to be done on common areas, e.g., cleaning roof gutters, exterior touch-up painting, and routine caulking; provides fiscal and accounting services; and assists the Associations in the enforcement of Association By-Laws and its Rules and Regulations.
Maplegrove manages over 40 condominium associations in the greater Lansing and greater Grand Rapids areas
Commercial Building Management
Maplegrove Property Management, LLC presently provides the following services to 17 office facilities:
- Obtain rental applications, credit reports
- Execute leases prior to occupancy
- Collect security deposits and monthly lease payments
- Contract with vendors to provide lawn care, snow removal, HVAC, etc. services
- Handle maintenance service requests of lessees
- Assure necessary insurance coverages for the building
- Process and pay accounts payable
- Provide monthly financial statements
